The One With Wonder Beauty Products!

Today I have an indie brand to show you! I hadn't heard of it before I stumbled across it on etsy a few months ago. Ive heard a few bloggers talk about it but it doesn't get enough attention it deserves! Its Wonder Beauty Products!

Jen from Wonder Beauty came up with the genius idea of putting polish into jars. It makes application of glitters a million times easier! In asked her if she would explain the idea behind it and this is what she said!

"My daughter and I were discussing over the past holiday how frustrating it was to apply glitter polishes to your nails in order to get good coverage. Sometimes it takes literally 10 coats of standard glitter polish to get enough of the glitters out. We have often had to pour them out onto a plate and then go for the glitters.

The idea hit me one day that it would be awesome to have a glitter lacquer in a wide mouth palette so you would have the free and easy ability to grab as much glitter as you like and could then apply it thin or heavy depending on preference.

Standard bottles are also frustrating in that that nearly 1/3 of standard polishes go to waste as they become very gummy and you cannot get the last of the product out of the bottle due to the short brushes and narrow opening.

The palette allows accessibility to use nearly every last bit."

I obviously needed to try out these jarred polishes so I ordered a bunch!

Each polish comes in a little package with everything needed to use it. The jar, clear fusing liquid, mixing stick, and instructions on how to use the polish.

To use the polish, use the mixing stick to stir up the glitter throughout the polish. This is a picture of "Galactic Storm" which is the perfect name for it! I really does look like a galaxy when you stir it around.

Use the brush from the clear fusing liquid to apply the polish to your nail. The one thing that is a bit annoying is how fast the glitter settles. I learned that you need to work pretty fast and I stirred between each nail.  If you want a less opaque color you can mix the polish with the liquid to create a sheer.

Now onto the swatches!
Rhinestones & Pearls, Aphrodisiac, Liams Galaxy, Drill Baby Drill, Galactic Storm

First up is Drill Baby Drill. Its a black base with teal, gold and copper glitters.

The glitter wasn't photographing that well on the nail so I took a shot of the jar to really show the colors.

Next is Galactic Storm.
This is a gray base with white, silver, fuchsia, turquoise, and gold glitters.

This is Rhinestones & Pearls. Its a clear base with silver and white glitters.

I really love the way it looks over blue. This is one coat over Revlon Royal.

One coat over Orly Frisky.

Here is Aphrodisiac, which is my favorite out of the 5 I bought! It has a minty green base with silver, gold, green and turquoise glitters.

Here its shown with Liams Galaxy, the last polish I have to show you.

I love the color combo of this one. This is my other favorite out of the polishes. I love blue and orange together so thats no surprise :)
Liams Galaxy has a blue base with gold, orange, and blue glitters throughout. It also has glow in the dark glitter effects! (which I completely forgot to try out :( )

Overall, I  think the concept to put glitter polish in jars is so smart! I love how easy it was to pick up the glitters and i didn't have to dig around to find them. I wish that the glitter wouldn't settle as fast but the amazing colors make up for it :)

You can buy Wonder Beauty Products from Jens etsy shop. I actually just saw the new colors she made and I'm going to order some right now!

**These polishes were provided at a discounted rate**
