I used Color Club Santa's Cinnamon for the pointer and ring finger and China Glaze Winter Holly on my thumb. For my pinky I used loose glitter and dabbed it onto clear polish while it was still tacky .
I wasn't sure how I wanted the tree to look at first. I tried a bunch of ideas but wasn't loving anything. I remember loving the dotted trees on Simply Rins last year so thats what I decided to do! After looking at them I feel that finger needed some glitter because its the only one thats not sparkly :(
Right hand again! I'm usually not a fan of red but I actually really like this polish. Its not a color I would wear any other time besides Christmas though. Winter Holly on the other hand, I'm in love with this polish! After I painted all of my nails red I wanted to change them to green but it was late and I was tired so I just did one. Haha I don't know know why I didn't think of it sooner! Oh well, next time.
I also gave my sister some festive glittery nails last night! I used what I did on my pinky for all of her nails, complete with a giant bow of course!
I love doing Bria's nails because I can make them absolutely crazy obnoxious and psycho. Haha
Now for some decoration pictures!
We also have Christmas music that plays outside 24/7. I feel like I'm in a Christmas movie whenever I walk to my car. Haha.
Thats all for today! I want to do a post soon with all of my decorations in my room but I'm still working on them. I've been decorating for 3 months and I still find new stuff to add everyday! Im going to finish decorating my Christmas Tree in my nail room now! :)

OMG I am in love. I'm just as big a Christmas nut as you. My house is almost totally decorated. Waiting on getting the fresh tree! Yours looks beautiful! :) Love love love them! <3
ReplyDeleteYay Christmas!!! Hahaa Thank youuu :)
DeleteLove both sets of nails! They're so festive, it makes me excited for the holidays. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
DeleteFab red/green Christmas mani - I would never be able to get all that detail into the space on the thumb as you did...I think I can maybe make a go of the string of lights - I have this red from CC 2011 and really like it - ditto for the green used here. I think you need to wear reds more often - looks great on you...maybe it's just finding the right reds for you. This one to me is only one I wear at holiday...maybe I put it on 1 other time on my toes when it was long after holiday...but there are many good reds that read non holiday...it's kind of finding your comfort zone for reds - warm vs cool - creams/shimmers - whatever finishes...and then of course there are always scads of great toppers to trim 'em out. Out of my many yrs of collection polishes, it's the reds I always go through carefully when I am purging bottles ... red works all yr long (all but a very few that are only holiday = like Dear Santa by OPI - one of my all time fav ever reds for holiday)...and others work better for fall/winter - then some I wear yr round and esp in summer. I love, love a red toe!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Its not so much that I dont like the way it looks on me, I'm just not a fan of the color in general. or pink..i hate pink lol. I will wear red during Christmas though because its not Christmas without red and green! :)
DeleteYour decorations are beautiful and I absolutely love your nails! <3
