The One With Nail School! Day 6&7
Nothing exciting happened this week. Both today and yesterday we did book work, reviewed, and then took a test. Next we are moving onto Chapter 23 which is the Beauty Enhancement Laws for New York State. Aside from the test today I did a manicure so now Ive done 2 manicures and 1 pedicure. Im not going to be in class because I'm going on vacation. So guess whose reading Beauty Enhancement Laws on the plane.

The One With The Pink and Whites!
A few days ago I was playing around with my acrylics and used my sisters friend, Gina, as my guinea pig. I did a full set of pink and whites on her. It was my first time so I think I did pretty good. I kept getting it a little too close to the cuticle so I need to work on that. They've been on for 3 days so far and haven't fallen off so I guess thats a good sign! haha
I think doing them on the fake hand is a lot easier than on an actual person. I can hold it any way I want and turn it to different angles that I can't with a real hand. I knew that it would be different in that respect which is why I wanted to practice on some real people. Gianna is on vacation right now but when she gets back I'm throwing some on her too...she just doesn't know it yet...haha. Im bringing her to the test anyways so I might as well start working on her now.
The One With All My Cousins
Today was my grandmas birthday party so all of my cousins were here, all ready to get their nails done! I only did 3 of them because I just did Gia's and Juliana couldn't have nail polish for school. They all picked out their colors themselves.
First heres my nails. Everything for the party was cheetah and yellow so I did my nails to match.

The One With Some Rhinestones and a Special Guest
These started off as black with white bows but my plates were being stubborn and annoying and I didnt feel like painting them so I gave up on that...haha
I didnt want to repaint them so I just added some rhinestones.

My cousin Gia was over yesterday and she wanted me to do her nails. She wanted pink cheetah and zebra so this is what we did.
And then she was being a little model and made me take pictures of her.
The rest of my cousins will be here Sunday so you'll be meeting them and seeing all of their nails!

The One With Nail School! Day 5
Today was client day at school. Those of us that didnt have clients were partnered in 2s so we could practice on each other. I did my first pedicure yesterday which was the part I was not looking forward to. I do not like feet. haha. But she had nice feet so it was ok. I didnt really know what I was doing because we never learned what to do, we kind of just had to figure it out on our own.
After that me and another girl learned how to use the paraffin treatment and practiced that on each other. It made my hands so soft and really helped my cuticles because they are so dry.
Today me and the rest of the new girls got our procedure papers to keep track of what we have done. We are required to complete a certain amount of manicures, pedicures, tips, etc..
So far I've done 1 manicure and 1 pedicure.
I pretty much just did some book work for the rest of class.
We aren't learning how to do anything in class yet so Ive been practicing with my acrylics at home. I think I did pretty good for not knowing what I'm doing haha
And I tried out doing the stiletto nails! It came out pretty good. Its not perfectly symmetrical but it was my first time so I just have to keep practicing.

The One With Nail School! Day 4
We had off from school on Monday so only 2 days of school this week. Today we reviewed Chapter 20 in the workbook and went over our notes. Reviewing the book is a little difficult in our class because there are 2 different textbooks. Half of the class has the new book and the rest has the older one. We have to split into 2 rooms and one of the groups has to review on their own and the other with our teacher. After going over the notes we took our Chapter 20 test and I got a 96.
After the test some of the girls needed to practice pink and whites on the rest of us. We each paired off into twos so they could work on us.
I didn't get to do anything today but my teacher gave me a NailPro magazine because she knows I might want to go into runway nail art. It has some great nail ideas and fashion week coverage. I really loved the magazine so I came home and order my own subscription :)

The One With The Nails That Never Happened.
Ive really been loving the black outline nails so I decided to try them out the other day. I was liking them at first and then I changed my mind when I was done. I like the colors together but I don't know how I felt about the glitter nail. And the outline on my right hand wasn't clean enough and me and my OCD...I took it off right after the picture.
What do you think? Do you like it or not? Im still not sure.

The One With All The Studs!
Ive been meaning to do these for the longest time and I finally got around to doing it! I absolutely love them! I think would be really cool if they had red underneath like the Louboutin nails but my nails are too short :(
And I noticed they matched my wallet when I was shopping yesterday so I took a picture with it :)
