Time for #3 in the fashion inspired series! I was sooo excited to do these! And i really love the way they came out. These are inspired by the Alexander Wang Spring 2013 collection. I have some inspiration pics at the end of the post. Plus, a little surprise "finale".
For this I used acrylic paint right on my bare nail. The collection focuses on cutouts with skin showing through underneath. I used the same effect for my nails.
Heres some of the looks I used:
And now... heres the surprise/best part of it all.. Wang had all of the white clothes and accessories glow in the dark for the shows finale....
So my nails had to glow, of course! I put 2 layers of China Glaze Glow in the Dark topcoat over the white parts of my design.
